- Strip & finish: full removal of old, yellowed finish and a fresh multi-coat application — the reset for floors that have gone too long
- Scrub & recoat: a lighter mid-cycle service that deep-cleans and adds finish without a full strip, extending the time between strips

How often floors actually need service
Frequency depends on traffic, not the calendar. A busy lobby or retail entrance may need burnishing monthly and a recoat each quarter, while a low-traffic suite can go much longer.
